WIDNES Vikings will not be signing French target Maxime Greseque after the French Test halfback rejected his latest chance to star in the English game.

‘Rugby Leaguer & League Express’ understands the Vikings were keen to bring Greseque to the Halton Stadium to add the final halfback cover they feel they need for 2005. Greseque has told the club that, while he would love the opportunity to try Super League, he wants to complete his law degree first. He will instead play out the French season with his domestic club, Pia.
